Daring Adventure
We were approached with the unquestionably hard task of creating the visual identity for one of the most mesmerizing parts of Georgia – Samegrelo. Although brief and brand evolving were quite mysterious, huge love towards region and Megrelians made us take the challenge. We took inspiration from an ancient Kolchian artifact found on the territory of Samegrelo in Tsaishi. Figurine from the VIII Century BC depicts a deity sitting sideways riding a horse. We have decided to portray the rider as modernized, abstract and more in motion.
The aim was to show the daring, adventurous, and smart characteristics of a true Megrelian.
